A PLACE OF PRAYER

A Place Of Prayer

It has been a while since I made a post. I had to spend sometime off and have been learning the scriptures in quietness. Also, I've have been learning a whole lot from other brethren too.

Prayer is not what I thought it was. It's not a bunch of loud and forceful words, where everyone around us can hear us insisting on what we want instead of what our Creator desires of/for us.

In my quiet time and meditation of YAHUAH'S word, I have learnt so much about what Praying truly is and how one can truly pray without ceasing.

Learning how Prayer is NOT a chore, is truly amazing.  It is actually the communication that helps build a strong bond and a healthy, lasting and loving relationship with Father.

And whilst it is okay set out a time and/or a place to pray, you should keep Praying throughout the day and even every time you're conscious at night. Even if all you say from your heart is, "Thank you Father for your goodness and your steadfast love..."

Communication with The Most High shouldn't be regimented. Keep it ALWAYS open and you'll see the difference.  It will affect the way you talk, walk, dress, foods you eat, where you go, what you watch, how you spend your time, things you do for fun, etc. It's a whole new level entirely!

Truth is, the thought you have in your heart to say "later" to The Most High is already heard by Him from the moment you thought about it. Same way He knows your exact thoughts even though you make a really lenghthy introduction leading up to the same very thoughts in your heart.

It is always better to keep it simple and straightforward with humility... expressing what and how you truly feel because you cannot hide from Him.

However, the decision to let Him fully into your heart to take control is solely your's to make.

This is what I learnt

Prayer is submitting our thoughts and desires to YAHUAH to approve of or Not. To ask for His desire to be done, to help us and align us to His will. MattathYahu/Matthew 6 :10, Thahlym/Psalms 40:4, AurYah/Luke 22:42, MarkU/Mark 14:36.

In Prayer we hear from Father and Trust Him completely even when things do not go the way we thought was right. Proverbs 3:5-6.

In Prayer we are changed and renewed as we submit ourselves to learning and understanding what is YAHUAH'S purpose for our lives. Proverbs 4:23, James 4:8.

We learn Obedience too in the place of prayer. Dabarym/Deuteronomy 28, Uyaqra/Leviticus 26.

We receive instructions and directions in the place of prayer. Yahuknn/John 14:26,Proverbs 1:7.

YAHUAH hears us when we pray in our hearts even if it's not audible and our lips do not move. 1John/1 Yahuknn 5:15. YaramYahu/ Jeremiah  29:12-13.

Prayer teaches us patience... to wait for YAHUAH'S timing. James 5:8, Roman's 12:12, Exodus 14:14.

In the place of Prayer, we can be rebuked and receive corrections. Proverbs 21:1, Hebrews 12:11.

In the place of Prayer, we are equipped... we gain more knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:6.

In Prayer, we receive strength or our strength is renewed. YashaYahu/Isaiah 40:31.

In Prayer, we learn gratitude. The heart of Thanksgiving. Acknowledging that all we are is by His favour. 1Thessalonians 5:16-18,  Thahlym/Psalms 118:1.

In Prayer, we have victory when we trust YAHUAH to fight for us.
Thahlym/Psalms 27:1-4, 124:8, 3:1-8, 91.

Personal prayers should be treated as a secret and done in secret. No one should know when you pray. MattathYahu/Matthew 6:5-6.

A person in constant communication with Father is careful not to indulge in sinfulness as the desire to sin is ripped from him/her daily through the Word and prayer. Thahlym/Pslams 119:11-16.

A strong key in Prayer is humbling yourself and acknowledging that you do not know which way to go.
Releasing yourself to YAHUAH completely... not holding back at all.
Cry if you feel like it... repent continously.
For "...a broken and a contrite heart, He will not despiseThahlym/Psalms 51:17.

Thank you Father 🙌🏽

I was in a place of meditation of YAH's word when I had the urge to write down what I have been learning in the place of Prayer.
I honestly didn't know that I had learnt this much. When I was done, I was so grateful to YAHUAH.

It isn't about what you can collect from Him but how you can be transformed by just being in His presence and seeking Him and His uprightness first.  Those other things will be added... you wouldn't have to fast for it.

I know there are those who have learnt much more in The Place of Prayer. Please feel free to share. Let's grow together.

Don't forget to continously study the Scriptures for yourself.

"Trust in YAHUAH with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.Proverbs 3:5-6

Thanks once again for spending a moment to read my piece.

I love you dearly.

Always, seek YAHUAH and His true Son YAHUSHA to guide you into all truth.

Shalum.

Your's Truly,

I am a lover of YAHUAH. I love the truth and I don't shy away from believing and speaking it. I'm very passionate about this and it keeps my hope alive knowing that I have been given a chance to unlearn what I was taught to be true and re-learn what is really true all over... with patience and diligence, in humilty. For this, I'm grateful.
